To open the format cells options in Excel, you need to select a cell or a range of cells and then press the following keyboard shortcut.
Control + 1
When you press the above shortcut key, it instantly opens the format cells option which gives you the following dialog box.
How to use shortcut key to format cell
- First of all, select a cell or a range of cells where you want to use the format cells options.
- After that, press and hold the Control key from the left side of the keyboard.
- Next, press the 1 key from the top of keyboard.
- In the end, select the tab from the options.
